The following is an excerpt from a document dated October 30, 1915 on record in Lee Co., VA:
". . . the three lots of land in the proceedings in said cause mentioned, being lots # 9, 10, and 11, in the partition of the real estate of T.H. Welsh, deceased, descended unto, and the title thereto became vested inn Josie Johnson and Millard Trent children and heirs at law of Mahalia Trent, deceased . . ."

Millard Trent, born March 29, 1860 in Hancock Co., TN and died July 30, 1904 in Lee Co., VA. He is buried in a lone grave in Lee Co., VA near the bank of the Powell River on the property that his mother inherited from her father, Tandy Welch. He married Anna Elizabeth "Betty" Church. |
